Good all round except battery life

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Clear bright screen, upgradable CPU,easily accessed ports at front of machine
Cons: very poor battery life,no external volume control,no LED at CAT5 connector to show connection
Opinion:
Does everything as you would expect relatively quick. Battery life is a big problem as it only lasts on average 1hr 20mins if that(could never get the 2hr 45mins out of it NEC states it is capable of),No good for watching DVD's or surfing the net on battery power .The mouse pad not being countersunk is annoying as you often brush past it easily when typing, which causes typing errors. Large removeable panel under computer should be more ridged.
