User Reviews

great notebook

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: nice screen, solid build, not heating up, good processing speed
Cons: slightly smaller keypad (compared to Dell), odd layout of keypad
Opinion:
I upgrade to 1GB RAM so the notebook work well even with 1.66Ghz processor. Only complaint is the keypad :
1. its not the full size keypad as Dell
2. the layout of some keys are odd, like 'insert','delete','~' etc. Take a while to get used to them.

Solid construction better than flimsy Fujitsu assembly without Sony pricing

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Stylish solid case; sufficient CPU speed for intended user; nice keyboard; value for money
Cons: Thicker and slightly heavier than equivalent Fujitsu; no fingerprint sensor for lazy users
Opinion:
Had a Fujitsu laptop before but discovered their light weight (costly) appeal translates into not very durable laptops if you intend to use it on the move. This Tosh met my required specs and looked very solid, just like some of the Sony laptops but cost much less.

One of the best i have seen.

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Wide screen, sleek, entertainment without booting up, not so hot, dual core
Cons: Slightly thick
Opinion:
Did a lot of research in CNET Asia for notebooks and finally decided on the Toshiba M100 after seeing the various makes and model's spec. No regrets.
