Not as What I expected
Dec 28, 2008Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Nil
Cons: Battery life poor and gets hot quickly
Opinion:
I have one since late 2007. Not what I had expected. It is a powerful notebook and expensive. However at this rate, I would love to settle with a Mini HP.
This Tecra is a bit too heavy for my liking. Not something I would bring overseas or wouldn't consider bringing it back to work from home.
Its too a comfortable notebook to use over a period of 4 hours straight. The images not as bright as I wanted.
Good all rounder system with no big flaws
Dec 18, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Good mix of performance and portability and protection. The finger print reader works very well.
Cons: Really weak speakers. get an external set if you like listening without headphones.
Opinion:
Been using this system for the past 6 months. Solid and stable system. the WXGA screen on my system is clear and sharp. The Nvidia Quadro graphics won't win any graphics races, but it will beat Intel Graphics upside down. Good enough for some gaming. The laptop build is good, if not great, it doesnt have the weak plastic feel of some systems out there. The joints does not creak. Can't stand the built-in speakers though. My 8yr old Digitek laptop has better speakers than this (and better than many other current laptops too... technology advancement? not visible)
perfect
