Pros: Sleek, nice feel to the keyboard.
Cons: Battery runs out fast.
Opinion:
I brought mine in Feb 2006 and it has been 2 years 10 months with me. The hard disk crashed and I got a replacement from the service shop for free. (A reminder to all buyers to take up the extra 2 years warranty, this is my 2nd laptop to have hard disk replaced for free after nearly 3 years.)
Otherwise, this unit has been durable and I particularly like the LCD screen, bright and nice.

Really not a bad choice, probably the best in quality-for-cost aspect

Pros: Light, fast, well-equipped, good-looking.
Cons: Built-in speakers could've been better. IR port unavailable.
Opinion:
This very up-to-date machine works really well. The batteries can last from 2.5 to 3.5 hours. x600 works pretty well. I had some trouble with the volume of the sound while onboard an aircraft, though it may have been the source. And I still miss the IR port sometimes. Some mobile phones do not have Bluetooth. In nearly all other aspects, this machine is very close to being perfect and it's a very good (among the best) value for money.

Almost perfect. I really like the screen and the form factor. Most of the specs are good, sata, X600, dvdrw. Mine has 1gb ram which is real good. The one I had didn't come with built-in bluetooth. The processor could be faster, too. Another complaint is the placement of the fn key and ctrl key, they should be swapped! One major major complaint is the aftersales service. It's really bad. I got a lemon and mailed the service center. To date they haven't replied. But my retailer gave me a 1-to-1 exchange.
