User Review for Apple MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo processor 2.53GHz, 2GB, 13.3-inch TFT)
A serious baby Mac Book
Aug 22, 2009Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Design, speed, quality of build, price (basic), display, battery life
Cons: None so far
Opinion:
So I finally got my hands on my new MBP 13.3 inch. I had opted to upgrade the basic unit with the addition of the 256 GB solid state drive and move the RAM up to the maximum of 8GB. The result is a rocket all housed in a fantastic unit. Screen is as clear as the bigger 15 inch machine I have. Battery life is unbelievably good, although I am yet to see if it really is up to the 7 hours touted by Apple. Before upgrade the machine is spec'd with 250GB 5400 rpm drive and 4 GB of ram. The price is approx SGD $2,500. Not only is this machine spec'd to put it in the "Pro" range, but the price point has certainly move down to make this a competitive unit compared with other high end laptops.
