User Review for Acer Aspire 4920G (Core 2 Duo T7100 Processor 1.8GHz, 1GB RAM)
No Dual Boot
Sep 16, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 4 USB, ExpressCard slot, Firewire, Multi-memory card reader, Built-in software security features
Cons: Windows Vista Premium is slow on 1GB RAM, Hidden hard drive
Opinion:
It's OS runs slow on just 1 GB RAM, so I had to put another 1 GB more. The 4 USB ports were very useful as was the Firewire for frequent file backups. Multi-card reader was useful for ready boost feature. Acer's personal storage disk was useful, as well as the simple encryption. The hard drive was sort of hidden, so if you try to install another os on the second partition. You'd only see the MBR with less than 500KB in size.
