why the upgrade?

Pros: cheap, small form factor, practicality

Opinion:
with its weight over 1kg, this upgrade seems to be suited (not for children anymore) perhaps for college students who wish to havce a no-frills type of pc. but why didn't they stick to the supposed ultraportableNESS while improving its tech specs?
