Lenovo Poor Cooling & Ventilation

Hi there,I have many friends that encounter this laptop eventually overheated many times during playing games.I guess the graphic is overheated and cause it to hang and restart sometimes.What worse is some of them might end up sending to the computer shops and buy a new power supply.
The technician advised me that Lenovo laptops have a very poor ventilation and cooling system.Is this true for this Lenovo brand laptop?
