black screen

Hope you continue to enjoy your unit. I have had 2 incidents of the screen going black. On both occasions, the technician said that was a common problem with the dv2000. What he did was to heat up the motherboard and the screen went back on. They warned me that the screen may just go totally black next time and prepare for a motherboard replacement. Otherwise, I have enjoyed using the dv2000i. I had it delivered with extended batteries so the back portion lifts slightly from the surface allowing air circulation. I have had no problem with overheating ever since.Jump to page: [1]
