The bad: No volume control on the speaker; distorts at higher volumes; can only be used with computers.
The bottom line: Despite the high price, the Orbit iML237 portable speaker is an attractive option for laptop users who want a compact portable speaker that outperforms their internal laptop speakers.

Decent sound but it's got fundamental technical problem
Nov 2, 2009Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Decent sound from small speaker, one cable does not create a mess
Cons: Weird noise at standby
Opinion:
After the Orbit is plugged in my laptop and when the laptop is at standby mode, you'll hear a weird sharp noise appear periodically. I have taken the problematic one exchanged for a new one but same problem persists. Unaccepatable to an otherwise nice speaker
