The good: Clean design; comfortable fit; good sonic pedigree.

The bad: Difficult to put on; not as compelling on the high notes.

The bottom line: If you are looking for a good portable audio experience without the accompanying price tag of an Etymotic or a Shure, the MDR-EX90 makes for a good choice.
