The bad: Difficult to put on; not as compelling on the high notes.
The bottom line: If you are looking for a good portable audio experience without the accompanying price tag of an Etymotic or a Shure, the MDR-EX90 makes for a good choice.

Definatly great for the money...

Pros: Awesome potential, some of the best response, built like a tank.
Cons: Air-ducts prohibit sound
Opinion:
Being an ex-70 fan for so long, I decided to give in and replace some shures I had. The second I put them on, I noticed something...very bad compression. I tried to read about this problem, and could only find people complaining; so I took it on myself to fix it. The problem came from the 3 air-ducts on the inner-part of the phones- too much potential sound is not only escaping, but foreign sounds are coming in. I ended up using a small piece of electrical tape over the holes, and using a needle and punching a very tiny whole in one of the ducts (through the tape). I have to say: I've never heard this type of quality from buds before, much less in this price range. i think you dont have NWS706F walkman connet to this earphone.
this earphone have to connet to NWS706F to have the best sound, it not for other mp3 player..
