User Review for Creative Aurvana DJ
Value for money, Awesome Design.
Oct 6, 2009Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Good Sound quality for its price. Beautiful Finish.
Cons: Heavy. Wasn't as comfortable as it looks. Earpads could be better. Headband not cushioned well.
Opinion:
From a perspective of a person upgrading his headphones taste from a sub $100 headphone category, I must really say, this is awesome.
I picked up the headphones at the Creative store today after making tough choices.
First impression was that, wow, its quite comfortable. But after a few hours of wearing on the subway, I discovered that the headband was really very hard, and to add on with its massive near 400grams weight, I could really feel some load on my head.
These flaws however did not stop me from enjoying its excellent sound replay, and its noise isolation allowed me to enjoy my songs without getting disturbed by a couple fighting on the train.
As for the earpads, it feels a little hard and cheap.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed picking up this headphones as its 1.4m~3m cable made it easy for me to just relax on my bed while watching a movie on my laptop.
I conclude that it wasn't really the best choice hearing on the go, but with such high sound quality for something at its price range and its stunning design, not to mention its excellent noise isolation.
