The bad: TV-output cable sold separately; glossy screen cover is prone to scratches; no dedicated noise-cancelling switch.
The bottom line: The S740-series Walkmans are good players with noise-cancelling features and audio inputs. However, there's not much to differentiate them from the older series other than just physical looks.

Opinion:
Notwithstanding the tiny screen, they come with hugely out of proportion phone jacks.. And huge ungainly buttons for people to jab at them in double quick successions?? AKA speed sms??? It is not a phone!
