The bad: May be overwhelming to users looking for a simple music player; audio quality is average; iTunes software is required.
The bottom line: The second-generation iPod touch includes features that are light-years ahead of the competition, its design has improved, and its price has finally come down to earth.

Worth every penny I paid for
Dec 24, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Gd video viewer, great music player, built in speaker and YES web browsing is a breeze via wi-fi. No lag at all with a gd connection. Stay connected all the time. Free app from itunes are great too.
Cons: Poor battery life and itunes.
Opinion:
Like I said worth every penny I paid for it and a better device than Creative Zen. Might get a 2nd one for my wife.
Great High Tech Portable Music and Video Player
Dec 8, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Almost everything (seriously!)
Cons: Sound quality, battery life
Opinion:
I bought this iPod last week to replace my old iPod Video 5th gen.
I like all the features this iPod has to offer. Cool design, touch screen, tons of apps, cover flow, big screen (great for watching movies), etc.
What I don't like from this iPod is the sound quality. Seems like my old iPod Video has better sound quality than this iPod Touch, even though I already use a premium headphone, it still doesn't help much.
Also, the battery life is quite bad, especially when you're using the Wi-Fi. But if you only use it to play the music, the battery can hold long enough.

Cons: Battery life
Opinion:
This is a great product and value for money. It has great application to make full use on this product. You can acheive a lot iPod touch alone - track your To-Do task, Calendar, Contact and most important it play music very well.
