Defect or Faulty?

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Poor sound quality
Opinion:
If you use better earphones than the one provided, you'll hear an uncomfortable background noise. There is a background buzz that sounds like a "cricket". It comes on when the LED lights go off, and if you turn off the LED animation, this cricket-like sound doesn't stop. Maybe my piece was faulty though.Or maybe its just a manufacturing shortfall?

Small Size MP3 Player

Pros: U4 is compact.
Cons: Touch button is too sensitive.
Opinion:
I think U4 is a standard MP3 player that focused on MP3 functionalities. The design is good and it's compact and small. I can use it as a thum drive.

In addition to charging U4, you do not need to turn on the PC. You can use a charging adapter with the USB connector on the other end.

well rounded DAP for a very affordable price

Opinion:
I absolutely love my YP U4!

I got it when my mom went to Korea.

All i need for my DAP are my mp3s and radio. And I got it in my YP U4 plus other features. It can record from the FM radio so i save music to my DAP for free instead of buying online. i also like the Dnse 2.0 feature because i can play with different sound effects for the saved music.

what i don't like about the U4 is that you need to open your computer just to recharge your player. I hope samsung will make a dedicated charger for it. Also, the touch sensitive keys sounds really cool but there are times that it gets annoying, but i have gotten used to it.
