CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Improved video battery life and brighter screen; gapless playback; new features such as instant search and enhanced games; movies now available in iTunes 7; excellent overall value. View score
The bad: Still no FM radio; small screen not conducive to movie viewing; proprietary USB cable; narrow native video-format compatibility; body is still scratch prone.
The bottom line: The amazingly low priced updated Apple iPod gets many under-the-hood improvements, but it's still not a true video player.

The second-best music player in the world
Sep 13, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Slim design, gorgeous screen, excellent software for music navigation
Cons: No touch screen
Opinion:
This is the second-best music player in the world, only losing to the iPhone.
If only it had a touch screen and had cover-flow.
Well, apple has given this excellent product an update, and the iPodtouch is great!!! I want one!!!
Near Perfect, Has Small Bugs
Jan 4, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Good Price, OK Battery Life, Stylish, Thin, Great Screen
Cons: Has video playback flaws, Scratchs easily
Opinion:
I would give the iPod 10/10 if it weren't for the easy to scratch surface and that, on occasion, the video will start part way through even though the video has never been played, though this is nothing but a slight annoyance. I will definitely buy an iPod next time I'm looking for a portable audio/video player.
It's all about the looks
Nov 6, 2006Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Sleek and stylish
Cons: Apple would have a hard time making the next iPod more beautiful than ever
Opinion:
To me, the iPod is simply about style and looks. It deserves a perfect rating just for that alone.
