The bad: Proprietary cable; below-average file transfer rate.
The bottom line: The YP-Z5F is a decent improvement over the YP-Z5. With a price tag that is similar to the iPod nano, it is definitely worth the dough especially since it has more features and looks just as good.

stylish
Dec 18, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: not that difficult to start using, user manual is rather useful
Cons: no video, need effort to explore the transferring of files etc, like reading instrcutions
Opinion:
space may be lesser than stated due to memory needed for inside the mp3..if u are on a street, u could on something to amplify the quiet sounds in a noisy surrounding..however there is no function to allow u to record fm the radio...its stylish design and clearer colour allow it to be an edge over the other mp3s like creative zen neeon2 and zen v plus...
Excellent sound but has obvious limitation on features
Sep 2, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Look & sound good.
Cons: Can't display Chinese titles. No delete function. Short battery play time.
Opinion:
Z5F is undisputably the best sounding player in the market. On sounding alone, it gets at least a 9/10.
However, the high score is dampened by:
1) It's inability to display Chinese song titles while the player is set to English language mode. In order to view Chinese song titles, language mode has to be set to "Chinese".
2) It doesn't have a built-in delete function.
3) Poor battery performance as it takes at least 4 hours to get fully recharged but lasts only about 3 hours of continous play.
4) In the menu, viewing songs by "Artist" doesn't bring you to a screen that lists all songs by the same artist but rather it leads you to the Album listing screen showing all albums that contain the artist's songs. Then lead you to the next screen showing all the songs that belong to the ablum that you have selected (i.e. songs from all artists are shown).
Perfect

Pros: Very clear & bright sound. Beautiful and easy to use interface. Stylish design
Cons: None so far.
Opinion:
I'm in love with this perfect little player. I don't mind not having video....I want an mp3 player and it serves the purpose perfectly. Voice recording is great quality too. Glad I bought it ^^
