CNET Asia Review

The bad: Very slow file transfer rate; rattling buttons.
The bottom line: The MuVo S200 is not terribly exciting, but it's a good player for most purposes as long as multimedia functions like video and pictures don't tickle your fancy.

I love the lyrics display function
Mar 6, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: bright orange PLED screen, lyrics display function, good sound quality, light
Cons: the case is made of plastic(?)-looks very fragile, no accessories available, no cover for the USB
Opinion:
A lot of negative stuff has been said of the s200 (actually about Creative in general), but I love this one. I own a ZVM but it's too bulky to bring to the gym. So I got myself an S200, which is perfect for me. Although, I can't use the lyrics display while I'm on the treadmill =), it's light and serves my purpose.
I'm a music buff and loves to sing along with my favorite songs so this gadget gets a high rating from me.

Jan 1, 2007Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: terrific sound quality, long usage life, chic, compact
Cons: user interface lags slightly when having a large no.of folders(e.g. 50+)
Opinion:
my best player.
had a ipod nano & a ipod (hd). both died within 6 mths and yet this one is still surviving very well even after a year
though the browsing of tracks lags when having a large no. of folders, it should a be a small problem since it dint happen when i properly organised my songs.
sound quality is many times better than the ipods with ultra clear treble and super deep bass when used with either a good earphone or good speaker set.
cool design as compared to past muvos.
compact and has a sturdy feel although the chassis is made of plastic...anodized aluminium or magnesium would have been better though
