The bad: Unable to play music while viewing photos; doesnÂ’t support anything older than Win XP SP1; hard to view display under sunlight.
The bottom line: While the Zen Micro Photo is, indeed, an improvement over the original, photo and music playback just canÂ’t seem to live in sync.

Great music play, but i've had so many problems
Oct 15, 2006Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: 8GB, store photos,&many songs
Cons: Has broken twice in the past 6 months
Opinion:
When I first got my Micro Photo, i thought it was great, the music, sound, screen, everything was amazing. But I only had it for 3 months when the screen faded and eventually disappeared. I recieved a new one from Creative and it functioned well for another few months, but now it has completely busted. The second time of repair shows I should have done a little more research on which MP3 player I should get...
Excellent
Jun 28, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Quality, sound, overall ease of use
Cons: software is quirky, but ok
Opinion:
This is my 3rd attempt at an MP3 player, Sandisk had buzzing, Toshiba had no software and relied on Windows Media Player, when this froze, so did the player. But this one really works well, easy to use, great sound quality, menu has lots of good options. Software means you can manage it as you want it, though loading songs on it is best to use the Zen Exporer (not the Creative MusicManager) overall this is almost perfect
magnifique!!!
Jun 26, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: almost everything
Cons: the software's kinda hard to use
Opinion:
Most of the people around me always say that ipod is better. but I think that this is better value for money. I'm not the one for style for practicality. the touch scroll is quite easy to get used to after some time. it's quite nice that you can store you pictures inside too. and for the size of 8 GB, I'll definitely take this over iPod anytime. As for the software, you'll have to use the zen micro media explorer coz the other one is a bit confusing to understand... but it's just a small glitch. All i can say is that i really like my zen micro photo. ^_^
