I bought one from Amazon USA.

Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Shipping by VPOST
Cons: It's taking a bit long to arrive.
Opinion:
Will test & use it out thoroughly when it arrives this week.

Playlists - there is a way

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Fanastic design/functionality. Should be in the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art.
Cons: Manual is basic. You have to work to make the most of its capability but worth the effort.
Opinion:
Regarding my previous post, I've now learned that if I create a Playlist in Windows Media Player 11 I can transfer it to the D2. I first have to go into Settings-System on the D2 and set USB Connection to MTP. Works a treat. I have to return the USB Connecton to MSC or the D2 won't be recognised by JetShell and JetAudio.

Multimedia Player for Audiophile

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Excellent Audio, Support Lossless file like FLAC and APE, Touch Screen UI, Great Screen for Video, High Power Output, BBE and Mach3Bass for Lossy file correction sound, Flash Player, FM Player, MTP and MSC for file sync, SD Card for external storage, The Wolfson CODEC and Telechips SOC used.
Cons: Often Firmware update and Internal Memory only 4GB
Opinion:
Great PMP I ever seen and hear...

One major problem

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Great feel and look. Sounds good and FM radio works well.
Cons: Doesn't support Playlists.
Opinion:
The D2 doesn't support Playlists. So if you were thinking of creating a list of Dance, Relaxation, Party etc playlists from the albums that you have stored on the D2, forget it.

Having to convert downloaded videos to the required avi format is also a bore; quite time consuming. Finally, I haven't found the Cowon on-line support very helpful though maybe they have a problem with their website at the moment. So unless you are fairly savvy with this type of equipment and the software, then buying a product from a retail store with expertise on board (eg, Apple or Sony; in Australia at least) might save some frustration.

Small but big ambition player

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Very Portable, Battery Life, Power Amp, SDcard Expandable (test 8GB ok), FW upgradable, AV out
Cons: Movie doesnt stay in last watched scene, Movie paused will go into OFF mode at a certain timing auto
Opinion:
www.iaudiophile.net...

Alot of info can be found at the above. My best mp3 player so far after creative and ipod. They are nowhere near Cowon iAudio in terms of sound quality.

Its a good buy. U have Hardware control for volume control, Next song, Pause. Cowon always have firmware upgrade to give suprises. Latest is 3.45 with notepad function to draw and color. Next is flash implementation. There will be more to come like even higher SDHC support (Now is 8GB) in next Firwareupgrade. They might be supporting 640x480 AV output since D2 is able to handle 2000kbps rate for their video which is totally insane.
