Buy the Clone !!!!
Oct 27, 2006Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Neat, well designed, easy to use
Cons: Lacks features and case
Opinion:
The Nano is very expensive, given that the China-made clones are a fifth of the price. The clones have FM recordable radio, voice recording, act as a flash PC memory device and play MP4s. The clones also play ANY music in popular formats regardless of where/ when purchased. If you just want an Itunes mp3 player, and can afford Apple's price, then the Nano is fine, but for the trouble of organising songs yourself, the clones are just way better than the Nano !!!! Unless you want a status symbol with severely limited functionability !!!!
Great design, pity it's so flimsy
Jul 9, 2006Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Great design, good sound and nice interface
Cons: Fragile and scratches so easily it needs immediate protection out of box. Battery weak.
Opinion:
Typical Apple product - great design but so flimsy and mine scratched within minutes. Sound quite good but no FM or sound recorder. Battery never achieved claimed timing!
Room for improvement
Mar 23, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: stylish, handy
Cons: substandard volume control
Opinion:
it's reali a cool stuff compare to other counterparts. But to me the biggest flaw is its volume control which can't hold a candle to others like Creative. Once u turn it on, u hv to manually adjust the volume of each song, ie. some will blast ur eardrum, while some u can hardly hear. Overall it's still considered above average, other than the vol control, the rest are doin fine.
Don't Just Go For The Name
Mar 21, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Slim & really portable which slips into pockets with no hesitation
Cons: Scratch Magnet! Too expensive, memory & features could be better.
Opinion:
Don't juz go for the APPLE/i-Pod name.I really love my nano alot,& i love it becuz of only the looks. The looks juz packs punch! But the features & memory ain't that good considering selling @ a not reasonable price.& it's juz really irritating how easy it gets scratch.I rather get a cheaper Creative MicroPhoto, with better features including sharper screen,FM radio, larger memory.Really compact too,but nothing so far can beat of the looks of a nano's slimness..
