These connected super-gadgets provide Web access and a buffet of portable entertainment without needing to lug around an expensive, fragile laptop. If you think the iPhone has a big screen, then you're in for a shock. Supersize Wi-Fi portable video players such as the Archos 705 WiFi and the Cowon Q5W sport huge screens, along with full Web browsers, incredible file support, robust storage, and enough features to make your head spin. Either one of these portable video players is enough to make the iPod touch look like a set of training wheels--but which of these extra large PVPs is actually worth the money? We'll take each of these wide-screen behemoths through five rounds of judgment from our panel of experts. Will the Cowon Q5W's built-in Bluetooth, Internet Explorer Web browser, and optional GPS functionality trump the Archos 705 WiFi's larger screen, wireless movie rentals, and optional DVR capability?
