Review Summary

There is a lot going for the Zen Vision: M, and true to form, Creative has just created yet another iPod killer to take on the incumbent.

On paper, the S-540 series looks almost similar to the E-440 series, albeit with a larger screen and a pair of speakers built into the back. We were impressed by how much volume the two tiny speakers could throw out, and thatÂ’s what makes the S-540 unique in its own way.

The Creative Zen X-Fi2 delivers good all-round audio and video performance, let down only by the screen quality and slow interface.

Though the updates are subtle, the third-generation iPod touch still leaves its competitors in the dust.
