User Review for Sony PlayStation Portable go PSP-N1000
Maybe Awesome
Nov 3, 2009Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Lighter, Smaller, Not UMD Friendly
Cons: C'mon Sony, WHERE DID THE GOOD GAMES GO?
Opinion:
So, I bought this thinking that I could have played all the good titles on the go in this smaller package.
But boy did I get a wake-up call when I logged on the the online store on my PS3.
The games were either mostly in Japanese versions are a total let-down (i.e. Class of Heroes), god knows why.
If you can read the japanese language, good for you. But I think that is a minor crowd.
And expensive as hell ! You would think that the company would sell you the games at a more competitive price since it is without the box and manual. BUT NO.
SGD$70 odd for Soul of Calibur?! Start at SGD$50 and we will talk about maybe purchasing it.
Then we have the accessories. Not available in Singapore? Are you kidding me...? Apparently not.
And as for the customer service team? All dead. No replies since Saturday (31 Oct 2009) with regards to my refund query (of a game).
People looking for a refresh for the PSP experience, I would suggest getting the PSP3000. That is until Sony decides to wake up themselves.
Let us all hope in the meantime that these features that Sony promised are not just Make.Believe.
