User Review for Apple iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition (4GB)
iPod; they just keep getting better and better.....
Feb 1, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Design, colors, ease of use, battery life is phenominal, and of course it sounds great!
Cons: For a 4GB player - none
Opinion:
I have a 30GB classic iPod I bought in Jan 06'. I had a lot of issues with it: Despite an advertised 14hr battery life I never got more then 8hrs playing time. It would lock up and required rebooting. It's latest trick is that it won't shut off.....truly, a mind of it's own.
I travel a lot so I could less about video or photos - I don't need that much memory. Being a true consumer and understanding the mechanics of having cool accessories I thought the combination of the color and memory was fine. Finally, I have the player I was meant to have.
Perfect size for slipping into a pocket without bulging, plenty of battery life for those 14hr flights across the big pond, which consumes about 200 songs, and since it handles 1000 you have no issues about it revolving the same songs around again.
Sure, you can get a Touch, but think about what you really need. Mine is for travel and plugging into my Jeep when I cruise, and the Ipod Nano is perfect for that.
