User Review for Samsung S3 Slim (2GB)
Great entry level media player
Jul 30, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: nice sound quality, good video playback,
Cons: No bluetooth. Limited space (2GB)
Opinion:
First impression when you see the Samsung S3 player is great!
It has a very nice smooth, sleek and shiny look.
There is only 1 button on the side of the player.
The button is used to switch the player ON/OFF as well as for LOCK/HOLD function.
All other functions and features are accessed through the 7 ‘touch points’ on the face of the player. I found the touch sensitivity to be much better than the some of the earlier Samsung devices.
Player is very simple to use, the menu and functions are very user friendly. I did not need to read any manual to operate the player.
Sound playback quality is quite good.
Radio reception is very good compared to the FM radio in my phone.
Video playback is surprisingly very good considering the size of the screen.
It does not have Bluetooth connectivity option and that limits the user to transfer media only through USB.
In summary, it is not as slim and light as I would like it to beÂ… but for an entry level media player I definitely give it a THUMBS UP!
