User Review for Samsung YP-Z5F (4GB)
Excellent sound but has obvious limitation on features
Sep 2, 2006Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Look & sound good.
Cons: Can't display Chinese titles. No delete function. Short battery play time.
Opinion:
Z5F is undisputably the best sounding player in the market. On sounding alone, it gets at least a 9/10.
However, the high score is dampened by:
1) It's inability to display Chinese song titles while the player is set to English language mode. In order to view Chinese song titles, language mode has to be set to "Chinese".
2) It doesn't have a built-in delete function.
3) Poor battery performance as it takes at least 4 hours to get fully recharged but lasts only about 3 hours of continous play.
4) In the menu, viewing songs by "Artist" doesn't bring you to a screen that lists all songs by the same artist but rather it leads you to the Album listing screen showing all albums that contain the artist's songs. Then lead you to the next screen showing all the songs that belong to the ablum that you have selected (i.e. songs from all artists are shown).
