NWZ-E443 (E435 America)

This is essentially the same as NWZ-E435 which is sold in the Americas but slightly different model number.Pro:
1. Decent music playback
2. Decent storage (max.) 16Gb
3. Slim & small
4. Priced lower than iPod nano
5. Decent video playback (for ltd use only due to screen size)
Cons:
1. CRAPPY content media transfer software
- NO playlist or CD ripping, just transfer existing files, if any (no album art if not already embedded)
2. No accessories as of 09-20-09 considering it was just released!
- Need a case and AC charger!
3. NO AC charger; must charge via USB cable to Mini-USB port through computer!
- Use a cell phone charger that has the Mini-USB plug to charge the walkman player!!!
4. Smudges really easily! Where's the case?!!
5. Questionable reliability!
- Too many stories of the product breaking down!!
6. NO paper manual, installed software/guide in player!
7. SLOW transfer speed via USB via Content transfer/drag n drop.
8. Use 3rd party software to rip music then transfer over (album art NOT available unless tagged to file using 3rd party software)!
Entry-level model with low price to entice buyers to buy product does NOT make up for the fact that the Sony content transfer media software SUCKS as MANY owners have already complained about this feature!!! What good is it to see a BLANK album cover when song is playing?! What good is it if it can NOT RIP MUSIC from CD's?? It can't even create playlists!!!
Who the HELL uses Win Media Player 11 to rip/manage their music? I sure as HELL Do NOT!! WMP SUCKS!!!
There's a reason Apple iPods and iTunes RULE the mp3 player world: 1) user friendly design & 2) EASIEST to use media software, iTunes.
So what if Apple iPods are relatively more expensive? Spend the money to get the User-friendliness of its products!!
Sony makes good mp3 players but, historically and currently evident, the company SUCKS at making their products USER FRIENDLY and makes TERRIBLE media software for their products, IF ANY, while charging a PREMIUM for their OVERHYPED and generally OVERPRICED products!
Too many damn products, questionable quality control and lousy customer service!!!
No wonder Sony Corp. is NOT doing well!!
