If you need music on-the-go on a shoestring budget..

If you need music on-the-go on a shoestring budget, this definitely has to be one of the few options worth considering. This was the summary given my C-NET, and i feel that it says sums it all.
I was worried about getting a mp3 from a brand that wasn't recognised, and i had my doubts over the quality of music i would be hearing. Also, i wasn't too sure how i would get it repaired should there be any technical problems. In my mind, this player appeared to be like those shoddily made players i've seen appearing constantly from China. (I mean no offence to the people from China. I'm just saying it as it is.)
The entire package consisted of the mp3 player, a usb cable for charging purposes, a micro SD usb card reader, the 2gb micro SD card and a complimentary set of earphones. (The player was surprisingly small, with a size of 20mm x 20m x 20mm. In case you don't know, that's way small!)
Now, as i have a good pair of earphones and many micro SD cards, i didn't need to upload any songs to the supplied sd card.
Instead, i proceeded to insert a SD card i owned prior to the purchase into the player. I was surprised when the player located a song in my card immediately for playback, despite my SD card containing multiple other files. The song being played was also stored deep within multiple folders in my card, so i was amazed that it was able to locate it in a matter of 1-2 seconds.
The sound was decent, and it was even better than many other entry level mp3 players of similar sizes. Also, i was amused when i realised that the player came with EQ. The bass generated was sufficient enough for me to enjoy my songs smiling.
The user interface employed was idiot proof. With a touch of a few buttons, i was able to do the usual navigations like fast forwarding songs and increasing the player's volume with complete ease.
As i listened to my songs, i soon noticed that the cube could be hung around my neck, and i dug out an unused pair of "handphone neck accessory" (for lack of a better word) to string the player with.
In no time at all, i was walking out of my house hands free and music blasting through my earphones, a very happy man.
Lastly, i wish to say that for an entry level player of this size and price, it has exceeded my expectations many times over.

PROS:
1. It's very affordable for a 2gb player of its size. 2. It's compact, and is also the smallest mp3 player in the world currently. 3. it's interface is probably the easest to use currently. 4. It's also able to be attached like a handphone over the neck. (Using those attachable handphone accesory lik thingies)
CONS:
1. No "hold" function, which might lead to accidental presses of the buttons located on its side. 2. Squarish design doesn't allow for it to be kept conveniently in the pocket. It appears to be designed soley to be hung around the neck.
