battery life for E10

I would like to know definitively the battery life of the E10 playing music only.My trusty CD Walkman with Atrac has died. I loved this as it provided the 30 hours playing tiime needed door to door on my flights to the UK and Ireland, plus it would run on 2 AA batteries in an emergency (having no musikc is the direst emergency!). I have an E10, so would like to know if I can depend on its battery for that period.
Also when I first got it I found a site in Oz selling spare batteries, but it's gone now.
