Last week, Asus made its P565 handheld official with an English press release. Over in Taiwan, the company showed off the product in the flesh--complete with attractive models. By now, everyone's pretty familiar with the technical specifications of this PDA-phone, so let's concentrate on the look and feel of the P565.

The dimensions of the P565 aren't large at all. In fact, it feels a bit too small when handled in our palm. However, the leather finish at the back does give a good feeling.

Here's a closer look at the leather-finish back cover.

Synchronization with a PC is achieved with a mini-USB port found on the bottom.

MicroSD card memory expansion is supported but you need to first remove the battery cover to access the slot. The battery found in the P565 has a capacity of 1,300mAh.

The Asus Glide interface takes on a different look on the P565 compared to the P552w. However, it's not a change that affects the use of this interface significantly.

From the way the P565 is handled by the model, you can tell that it is, indeed, quite small.

Here's a last look at the leather portion. Turn your eyes slightly to the left please, we mean the leather part on the P565.
