This cute, little CompactFlash wireless network card from NTT DoCoMo was launched earlier in Japan by the Japanese mobile giant for connecting PDAs to their Infogate portal service. Through the NTT DoCoMo network, users can then access information such as news, travel information, maps and even PDA software. It retails in Japan for an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 yen (US$40-48).

The InfoTouch P600 is Taiwanese manufacturer Eten's first Pocket PC 2002-based PDA cum mobile phone. It features a built-in dual band GSM/GPRS module. Powered by an integrated Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, the P600 comes with a 65,536-color display, 64MB RAM and a 206MHz StrongARM processor. Other features include a built-in microphone and speaker, infra-red connectivity, and dual MMC/SD and CompactFlash Type II slot (using external jacket). The PDA is expected to retail at around US$800.

This portable 10.4-inch progressive scan LCD TV from Korean manufacturer, Sevit, is just the thing to catch soccer action from the World Cup, be it at home, in your room or even in the car. The LT-10A has a SVGA (800x600) resolution and comes with teletext as well as various connections such as S-video, PC-IN and DVD-IN. The screen automatically inverts the picture when it is flipped upside down, allowing to be used upright with the stand or hung inverted in a car.

It is pre-installed with Palm OS 3.5 and offers mobile Internet as well as voice dialling and memo recording utilities. A PC mouse and pen combined, the VPen uses an enhanced sensor technology at the tip of the pen to detect the character strokes, converts the user's handwriting into ASCII text before it is sent via USB or Bluetooth to the handheld device. It can be used on any surface and recognizes Latin as well as Asian characters.
