Many industry analysts are expecting new products to be announced at this week's Macworld event held in San Francisco, among them improved iPod models, a multimedia streaming device and the much-anticipated iPhone.
The launch of the Apple smart phone, in particular, has been generating a lot of interest on the Web over the past few years. This is amid reports on the
company's partnership with contract manufacturer Hon Hai to produce 12 million iPhones. There are also rumors from Taiwan that the
handset will sport 2-megapixel cameras. Even sports betting site Bodog.com has
started taking bets on whether Apple will announce the iPhone at January's Macworld or by the end of April 2007. With Macworld just a few days away, guess we wouldn't have to wait too long to know the answer.
