Sony Ericsson Portable Bluetooth Speaker MBS-100
First Take
Imagine a Ferrero Rocher. Now picture it 20 times bigger without the wrinkled gold foil. Do you see an oversized chocolate candy? At least that's what we thought when we first saw the pictures to Sony Ericsson's Portable Bluetooth Speaker--the MBS-100. In real life, it looks nothing like the scrumptious chocolate, but more like a moon rock, or a space travel capsule from Star Trek. A case of a photographer's overzealousness? ...

Cool product
Dec 26, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Nice design
Cons: Maybe none???
Opinion:
Thanks, I didnt know the product good enough. I even written to SE but their reply is of no help at all. Samsung U700 has A2DP but it could not even pair with it. So, am still searching for the solution.
And another thing, if you have tried it out, it can only play music, I could not transfer the speaker's voice to it during call. Just a comment, if I did something wrong. Thanks.

Cons: None Yet...

Its a x-mas present from my beloved and it sounds good... Finally a device that i can bring along on my business trips to listen to music viz wireless and good quality sound !! Just wanted to add that this device supports A2DP and if your device does not have A2DP it will not play... I don't think it has a compability issue... Know your item well before you comment please...
Cool gadget, but think limited compatible devices
Dec 23, 2007Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Cool design
Cons: Limited compatibility devices
Opinion:
Just got this cool product today. Music wise, it is very satisfying to me. I have an SE K850i and a Dopod 838 Pro. Both can paired with MBS 100 successfully, no problem.
But when I tried to pair with my mum's SE K750i and Samsung U700, problems are encountered. SE 750i can be paired, but cant be connected. Samsung U700 cant even be paired.
Think SE will need to sort out this compatibility issue. It is quite sad, other than these issues, I think well round this is a cool product.
