Starlight for 12Mega All Round Sony Ericsson Satio

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: All in One Cybershot / Touch Features / Walkman / Large Screen
Cons: Plastic Feeling / Bulky and Huge / Paint Peel When Scratch
Opinion:
After using Satio for weeks and upgrade to the latest firmware from SE.. The phone is running well and responsive compare to other phone with the same OS.

Wonderful Symbian OS allow me to download application and games. Large Screen allow me to view my music video and movie is a pleasure and excellent 'in' ear earpiece for my mp3 and radio..

As a Camera Cyber-shot branding had not let us that much down picture are vivid maybe i dun ask for much. Speaker may puffer when mp3 are too rock or pop sensation. If the size of the phone can slimmer down and more robust it will be good.

If you really need a camera, mp3, video player and wifi phone.. -1 as no phone can be perfect. i do recommended you Satio as your choice..

Fantastic camera, good phone, so-so touch interface, poor media player

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: 95 out of 100 things you want out of a phone are in it
Cons: Resistive Tocuhscreen, lack of Multitouch and media player buttons
Opinion:
Writing this after using for 3 days. 95 out of 100 things you want out of a phone are in it, the user interface takes me quite some time to get used to, considering I own 3 other SE phones before this, abeit each one last me 2 years, I'm skipping 2 generations with each phone change.

Battery life is rather short if you use it to surf, play video or games frequently. The beautiful screen itself is probably a energy guzzler.

This is not an extensive review so I make it brief. The camera is fantastic, not really due to the 12.1MP, but more of the lens, CCD and the xenon flash. Even without flash, nightshots look surprisingly good.

The touchscreen interface can be quite annoying at times. Some may feel the it lacks consistency until you get the hang of it (if it happens at all).

The resistive screen and the lack of multi-touch ... Read more

Disappointed with SE Touch phone

Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Camera, Video, nice big screen
Cons: Lagging software
Opinion:
I got this phone and have been trying it for a few days and have decided to sell it off. The software lags everytime you go into the menu, software is also inconsistent, sometimes you need to double tap and sometimes one tap. Touch screen is not smooth as it is using resistive touch screen. When texting, the qwerty keyboard is so small that there is no way you can type without errors. You can text by handwriting recognition but you need to use a stylus or fingernails. The Wifi connection is iffy, most times it disconnect by itself and use the GPRS network. Quite hard to set up on your own if you switch to different telco. I am a big fan of SE but besides the excellent video and camera, this is a miss. I am using an Aino now, till their touch screen phones gets better.
