Jun 15, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: SIMPLE BUT EXCELLENT BUILT QUALITY, SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE OF TOP QUALITY, BEST TOUCH EXPERIENCE, BEST 5 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA ON MOBILE PHONE, SUPERFAST SPEED, EXCELLANT BROWING EXPERIENCE.
Cons: Finger smudging back and front, lack of flash on camera, no video flash player.
Opinion:
I am a doctor and purchased this phone after seeing reviews about excellant quality of this phone in cnetasia and phonearena.com and gsmarena.com.The review of the lady editor from CNET UK looks biased or she does not have much experience about windows based phones.I think she should re-review HTC touch diamond 2 again and give unbiased opinion. I sold my earlier SE Xperia and purchased this phone with a loss of almost Rs. 25,000/ [Paid almost Rs. 44,000/ for Xperia]. SE Xperia was a lousy phone and the company created unnecessary hip before its release inspite of delaying for so many months. SE Xperia was utterly disappointing experience.
I had the opposite experience with HTC touch diamond 2. Wonderful experience --> Excellant built quality, simple but very professional looks. Very good phone for professionals. Excellant software and hardware. Touch Flow 3D almost on par with IPHONE. Excellant Camera quality. It beats even the 8 megapixel camera phones. Superb browsing ... Read more

Great Win-Mo Phone
May 14, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Great screen, one handed touchscreen use, loud speakers, handles video well
Cons: poor auto-rotate feature; email handling on Win-Mo device loses out to Nokia Messaging
Opinion:
Bought the phone for under S$1k w/o contract with 8GB card.
Great bright screen. But not many free apps to fit the high resolution at the moment. Speakers were good; well built; enjoyed Starhub Mobile TV on it. Battery life acceptible.
Email is quite good, until you try out Nokia's new messenging service. Wish there were more config options. But this is Win Mo's fault, not HTC. The auto-rotate feature is rather slow compared to iPhone's; and oddly, only works when you tilt the phone anti-clockwise when facing you!
I got this cos my iPhone can't do mobile stock trading and cn't watch Starhub Mobile on TV.
Had HTC Touch before that and this is a definite improvement. The touch flo requires some mastering. Miss the navigation button...
