5th HTC device in 24 months
Sep 20, 2009Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Screen size - 3.5 MM jack -
Cons: CPU - Manila UI - Camera -
Opinion:
I do my own reviews, thus compared with other devices out there - and being a regular upgrader, the HD is only worth a 7. I am not saying that there IS better out there, but HTC fails again to deliver THE product which could make the difference.
Add a better camera, stonger CPU , Flash and somewhat stronger battery + a stable UI and the preached 'iphone killer" could have been the HD. Now is tis just another name in a HTC strategy to throw as many mobiles in the market as possible...
the most comprehensive phone in the market now
Jul 6, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Fast, easy to use, fantastic lcd display, wifi, weather, stock update, etc
Cons: hard to update the hotfix, rom upgrade.
Opinion:
I have been using this phone for 3 month. Its function is user friendly. Extremely easy to use from day one. It needs protection for the large LCD display, so get a leather flip top cover. This phone lack the orientation sensor for some programs, but you can download GSEN directly into this phone with wifi or 3G.Gsen works great. MY previous phones are treo, sony p900, treo 650, treo 680, nokia e61i and this touch HD improve on all the previous phones. High price to pay but its worth every cent. I rate this phone a 9 bcos of update issue.

May 26, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Fast, Large Screen, Good battery, Excellant radio compared to other HTC phones
Cons: No D Pad like Cruise, No auto orientation in all programs
Opinion:
Upgrading from an 08 Cruise , this is really excellant, Cruise was sluggish, buggy and poor network coverage (inspite of ROM upgrades). HD is much better in all aspects like Battery, Screen, Speed, Software (touch flow 3D), Network etc. Only gripe is about the lack of D pad and unable to use in Landscape mode in many programs (except opera)
