Asus is bad !
Nov 18, 2009Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: cant find any
Cons: after market parts are incredibly expensive to the point it's inconceivable for usage
Opinion:
few days afetr purchase, LED screen failed. got it repaired in 3 days. about 2 months later, after an unanswered call of about 3 mins, the replacement lED screen showed horizontal lines, obscuring normal view to render the unit hardly usable.
went to Asus service center, they said its a crack on the LED sctreen, replacement will be SGD390. But the unit still has more than 9 months left warranty, I even bought screen protector , and the condition of the unit proves I take care of it. To me, it is bad quality screen to fail twice in 2 months and 2 units; it is extortion to want SGd390 to redner a bad product that me the customer paid a hefty price for, but cant enjoy.
