software problems?
Sep 14, 2009Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: very good pictures, videos, and music. Can hold up to 16gigs of memory.
Cons: constant crashing
Opinion:
I have this unit for almost 9 months now. I have been updating the software via the nokia update ek-ek, but seems like the problems of crashing is still there. It almost always restarts on its own, there was also an instance when it re-formatted itself, good thing i had a back-up. Very expensive too. Not your money's worth.
Nice phone to use
Mar 29, 2009Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Picture taken by camera is good
Cons: Cannot forward picture message
Opinion:
Not a bad phone to use but the only thing it cannot forward picture message.
Not much of a technological advancement from the N95, just sleeker and thinner.
Feb 1, 2009Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Slim design, included 8GB card
Cons: Fragile sliding mechanism, feels too similar to the N95
Opinion:
Although a slim looking phone, the N85 looks rather unfresh and incomplete. The silver button located to the right of the keypad makes it look like it was unintentionally put there. There really isn't much of an improvement from the N95 but it feels slightly lighter and fits into your hand more comfortably.
N85 is coming soon to be sale in Indonesia. Cnet asia reviews mentioned that price of N85 is USD ...

Pros: 143
Cons: 143
Opinion:
Don't believe everything you read. This phone is plagued with flaws, the wobbly slider issue is serious, just had this a few days and seems it won't last long. The dpad easily comes apart and unglues. FM transmiter is useless, so poor and weak signal it won't work unless you put the phone 1 cm. away from the car radio. Sometimes it does not charge from the wall charger or from the PC usb cable. The music quality sucks big time, about 10 times less volume than the N81 and huge level of distortion. The camera takes ages to focus. Music player randomly freezes. Worst of all, the stupid slider scratched the backplate on the upperside (the one that covers the media keys). I've had 3250, 6600, 3750, N81 and E65. They have all been excellent phones. This one is just a piece of cheap chinese plastic. Even after upgrading the firmware and formating the phone it keeps failing.
I HATE NOKIA
