Sadly, a loser

Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Lots of options
Cons: All the options are sluggish
Opinion:
Owned it for 17 months now. Similar observations as others here: terrible battery life (and overheats often). Screen too small, so touchscreen hard to use. WMobile 6.1 often goes haywire, with the contact list opening when you haven't called it up. Leaving any application open in the background quickly drains the battery. Terrible photo quality. And it's a huge problem when a call comes in, the screen automatically becomes active, so put your hand in your pocket to take the phone out and it's nearly impossible not to answer or hang up on the call still in your pocket - really dumb design. Looks nice, but in the end it's a loser.

It is a mistress in handhelds!

Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Looks sexy, very slim, matches your clothes easily, 3.5G, in-built Youtube software, Touchflo interface, very customizable through 3rd party mods.
Cons: Slow interface, not very user friendly if not modded, music player in Touchflo hangs when there is too many music files, web browser limitation.
Opinion:
I had the Diamond for about 7 months before I write this review. So it is not an impression that I will give you, but rather a truthful presentation of how the phone actually worked for me.

Like many others, I bought the Diamond after much research, and because we failed to resist the seduction of its looks. However, after using it for several months and exploiting almost every mods there is, I have come to a conclusion that it is like a mistress (looks and feels good in your hands, but never really helped you MUCH in your everyday life).

Pros:
1) Comes with almost all wireless connectivity, except for infrared.
2) Really looks good, both front and back of the phone. You can put it on the bar while you quench your thirst with ice cold beer...and you'll know there is someone looking at your phone.
3) It is slim enough to fit into any pocket ... Read more

All style and no substance

Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Looks Cool, good sized screen, wifi connectivity and GPS
Cons: Battery life is appalliing, Touch screen is unresponsive and ring volume is too low
Opinion:
I really, really tried to like this phone but after 4 months i've given up and sold it. It looks good, and is excellent for wifi connectivity but is crap as a phone.

The ring volume is too low, the touch screen is unresponsive when it should respond and too responsive when it shouldn't. I was forever disconnecting calls because my face had touched the screen or receiving call backs because i had inadvertently dialed a number whilst the phone was in my pocket or bag. I had to resort to third party firmware updates to resolve the issues, and these only resulted in other problems.

... and as for the battery life ... My God, what were they thinking. In order to get half a days use of the phone, i had to disable virtually everything. That meant disabling, bluetooth, wifi, beam, just about everything but the phone. And even then i had to resort to ... Read more

just asexy looks lots of features that is not practical

Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: looks outstanding
Cons: looks is not everything and short battery life is terrible, small screen size
Opinion:
i don't know how this phone gets just high ranks that does not deserve

Good, but battery life is a main issue

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Design, size, seldom need restart
Cons: Battery life, gets hot, slow, GPS does not work well, camera hangs
Opinion:
Cannot last a whole day without charging, this is a major problem. It is generally slow, the camera hangs and will require a restart of the phone unless you close the application immediately after using it and GPS takes forever to get a fix. Otherwise, it is very sturdy, look great, is quite stable (very few restart needed).
