Palm Centro for mail

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: cheap as gift
Cons: windows
Opinion:
At first sign, it looks like Blackberry, I've got a blackberry storm 9530 not long ago, can the PC receive mail like Blackberry? or does it work like Pocket PC?
can it work like mobile phone to be putted dvd video to view?
www.convert-video-dvd.com...

Has a bunch of PDA bells and whistles. The 1.3-megapixel camera is a plus but there's no Wi-Fi.

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Takes nice pictures and movies on 1.3-megapixel camera, simple interface
Cons: Not inexpensive. This costs about US$400 in the Philippines, no Wi-Fi, no touch screen typing
Opinion:
The Palm Centro has about everything you need for a PDA phone plus a 1.3-megapixel camera and a micro SD expansion slot for up to 4GB of data. It takes decent snapshots and video so you don't need to bring a bulkier point and shoot digital camera on the road. But what is disappointing is the absence of Wi-Fi so you could take advantage of available wireless network. Those who are used with touchscreen typing will have to live with its qwerty keyboard, which is somewhat annoying if you have big fingers. Overall its go for me. It clutches most of the user-friendly features and functions of Palm smart phones. I have to see its price when it's bundled with plans. Its current price of about $400 wihtout plan is hefty.

top 5 phone ?

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: basic phone with good features
Cons: unsure, cause never got a chance to use it
Opinion:
how did this sneak into the top 5, well anyway to my opinion i think its to appease the palm lovers.. well looking foward to their latest handset..

NO regrets!

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Small, Compact, Light, Serves my needs...
Cons: Having Wifi and 3G would be nice...but
Opinion:
A very good entry model for people who are first into smartphones. And being a palm user for more than 10 years, combinng the good old PDA and a phone saves more time and space than carrying two devices. Much smaller than the treo 680, and runs faster than the treo 680.
