Not a practical phone and doesn't have built-in flash
Mar 17, 2008Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Don't need to carry 2 phones and it's cool for one that's looking for a new generation phone
Cons: Not for business use
Opinion:
It is of my personal opinion that the mobile phone manufacturers might have loss ideas in the design of next generation phones.
Though it is handy and cool having a 2-in-1 (2 sim cards in one phone), but this might be a nuisance to a businessman in having to switch from one to another. Worst off if he has forgotten to switch back.
I believe that a businessman would rather carry 2 instead of such 2-in-1 mobie phone.
The other aspect is though it has 3 migapixel, it doesn't have a built-in flash which is a basic essential.
Another good one from samsung

Simply brilliant!
Feb 27, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Dual SIM, easy user interface
Cons: heavy for non-3G, short battery life
Opinion:
Overall a great mobile, particularly for those with 2 SIM cards. Easy to use, but software for PC has plenty of room for improvement. Battery life is short for non-3G and it would have been even better if it was as thin as the ultra series.
Quite Satisfied
Feb 23, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Dual SIM, Dual standby,Good Looking
Cons: The software is a bit sluggish, acceptable. Quite a heavy phone.
Opinion:
Personally, I find the phone quite easy to use. I was able to switch from 1 SIM to anouther easily by pressing the SIM selector on the left side of the phone quite easily. The only gripe that I have with this phone is its weight. Maybe it's because they packed all that good stuff in it thats causing it be on the heavy side. Picture quality taken by the camera is decent. The radio works fine. The MP3 player does its work decently but I will like to have better headphones. In my own opinion, the sound reproduction from the headphones leans too much on the treble side. Bluetooth connection is peachy both for the headset and for file transfer. Good work!!!
Lion of mobile phones!
Feb 11, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 3MP camera, FM, Doc Viewer, TV out, Dual SIM feature, EDGE, Video streaming.
Cons: No 3G
Opinion:
This Samsung D880 is truely the LION of mobile phones. Kashif, You did a foolish mistake to sold it out (loss of 8000 rupees)! Because Your mobile will only REBOOT automatically if you change PRIMARY SIM from MENU options. While to CHANGE your simcard WITHOUT REBOOTING the phone, you need to press the "SIM SELECTION" button (located above the volume button at the left side of the phone). just TYPE your desired phone number or SMS and then, press the "SIM SELECTION" button to select your SIMCARD (SIM1 or SIM2). Then press "SEND" green button which directly sends phone call or message to your desired number without restarting the mobile. For full demonstration of this procedure, please watch this YOUTUBE video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJa5vJf5ZPs
And ofcourse, you can receive phone calls and messages on your BOTH SIMs at the same time as well. And goodluck next time! Spider from PAKISTAN
