Life is not Good
May 27, 2009Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: Nice design
Cons: Power
Opinion:
I don't know if I got a lemon but I had problems with my LG KU990 right from the start. I have a suspicion there is something wrong with the circuit design (the KU990R came out so soon after the KU990).
The phone keeps shutting down on its own even when the phone shows fully charged. The service centre took a week (without a replacement) to change the entire "motherboard" but said my battery is faulty. (might as well give me a new one). I changed the battery but the phone last only about a day before i had to recharge.
It is one of the most "troublesome" phone I have ever bought. Life is NOT good.

Opinion:
having problem pairing up viewty and my bluetooth headset.
My headset keep connect and disconnect on its own though im just beside the phone. And there are lots of noise during call.
Anyone can recommand a good bluetooth headset which can be pair with viewty without any problem? or anyway to slove this?
Design with sluggish system
Jul 26, 2008Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: Design and price
Cons: Other than design and price
Opinion:
The model I had tried is KU990R, the latest incarnation of Viewty. Aside from the additional lens cover and better camera mode switch, the rest are the same as the older version.
The Camera function really suffer from sluggish operating system. The phone may take reasonable quality of photos and that is all the the phone is good at. Loading time to view your photos is like forever (no joke, it takes more than 2 mins to load as if the phone hang), particularly if you have loads of photos stored in the memory card. My suggestion is to view your photos using PC instead. Location of the memory card is a nuisance as you need to remove the battery before you can access the card. use this Camera as your primary shutter, and I am sure it drives you MAD.
There are long lists of issues that make this phone secondary choice, including the following

Pros: Sleek, light, WOW 5mp camera?
Cons: No 3.5mm - Requires adapter
Opinion:
Best phone I've ever had. Love the huge 3". Love the keyboard - Any SMS-geek is going to love the keyboard, similar to that of the iPhone. The camera, I kiss it every night before I sleep.
