Excellent Phone
Oct 27, 2008Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Design, Build Quality, Everything I expected and more
Cons: Keypad is a bit small
Opinion:
I purchased this phone after reading some goood and some bad reviews. Many have rebood and shutdown problems, slow menus etc..
I have had this phone for sometime now and never experienced a single problem, the only thing I can say negitive to some would be there is a learning curve that may take time for some to grasp, I myself coming from the z6 find this phone to be more feature filled and a more pleasing design, not many mention but the phone itself as a phone is excellent, I did do the firmeware update avaliable as soon as i recieved it, the menuse and OS are fast I have not had any lockup or reboot issues. To date I have had the v9. z9 z6 krzr razr 3XX and a couple of Iphones. As far as price, features included, layout ease of use etc.. this is one of my favorites.

Takes a little getting used to
Apr 22, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Good Looks, very nice hi-fi sound
Cons: Need to spend time learning to use it unlike previous models, no wi-fi
Opinion:
Just got this beauty a couple of days ago. I must say its really a looker which really got people staring. You really get use to the keys after some time on it. I can't seem to find the music equalizer (if there is one) although it sounds great even with the original earphones that it came with. The control buttons get a liitle too green in the dark which makes it look a little toyish. Games installation takes longer than normal. Colors are really brilliant. Camera is surprisingly good for a 2mp. No wi-fi, probably that's why its so cheap. The features are not really easy to use as compared to its previous models or SE brand. I really paid for the looks as I didn't really expect much from Moto.
a good phone anyway
Mar 10, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 16m color screen, 3G with HSDPA, nice design, UIQ 3,1 and so on
Cons: no wifi, keypad.
Opinion:
absent of wifi is really a sad thing..
and true that take some time to get used to the NEW and creative design keypad.
maybe the screen can be slightly bigger? 2.2inch is really abit .. err ..
Perfect phone for movie and TV series addicts! very unique style with class.
Feb 18, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: QVGA 16 million colour display 90MB internal memory, upto 32GB expandable memory
Cons: keypad navigation, but if you get used to it, keypad wont matter at all
Opinion:
I rate this Moto Z8 and 8!
I agree with keypad review, at first it is really hard to navigate but once you get a feel of it after 3 days you'll get used to it. Camera is good enough, im not saying its very good. The main attraction of Z8 is watching a movie on your phone! Reviews and my first impression was toleratble with this phone. Now Im loving it.
