sony ericson w880i
Jan 31, 2008Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: very slim and light, the functions are ok
Cons: the speaker is super duper lousy
Opinion:
when i first bought this phone i was very proud of it, but sometime later i realised that the speaker's got a shashasha sound everytime the phone rings which makes me very irritated.
great lookin phone with some drawbacks..
Jan 21, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: sleek, sexy, anorexic, & lightweight good walkman, nice user interface, 3G
Cons: tinsy tiny keys, can't find external volume controls, poor speaker audio quality
Opinion:
I'm using my friend's w880i for a while so i'd thought id give my two cents worth..
Overall, nice walkman phone however is it just me or does the camera lag so bad that it takes about 2-3 seconds to snap and save automatically and I get blurry pictures if my subjects make the slightest moves...?
Tiny external keys at the sides which require one's fingernails to press on em.No FM radio!!!
However, slim phone packed with the usual SE features including 3G and a generous 1GB memory card. Nice phone but im sticking with my w580i. woohoo.
slim shaddy phone

Jan 1, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: slim, sleek, basic features are all there
Cons: flash, louder speaker
Opinion:
Was looking for a nice looking slim phone and w880i fits into the category. Offers the basic features but certainly wish that its speaker was louder and an onboard led flash. other than that, it's a very sleek phone. i like it loads.
Really slee walkman phone
Dec 30, 2007Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Light and slim design
Cons: No FM radio; keys too small
Opinion:
I lost my phone and urgently needed to have it replaced ASAP. Not having time to look thru the net, I bought this based on its look and functionality. Having owned an SE phone previously, I was familiar with its functions but was disappointed by the lack of a radio and absence of photo/video light, plus the keys were too small & painful to use.
Looking at the other models over the net, I think I should have bought the K770i instead - slim + radio. Btw, my 880i's color is gold which looks really elegant. However, I found out they SE has this in black & silver. I wonder if I should be worried?
