Good compact phone

Pros: compact with 3G, MusicPlayer and Document Viewer
Cons: No FM and ONLY ENGLISH is supported at the moment
Opinion:
This is my first Samsung phone.
Just bought the phone and delighted with its weight as a 3G phone. It also come with document viewer. Nevertheless, you have to use File Manager and browse to the file to open and view it. Would be much better if samsung can include a docViewer application shortcut directly under the Applications menu. It take me quite a while to figure out this very useful feature.

Software speed above average. Sound quality certainly not as good as my old Motorola E398, but acceptable. No FM. To my biggest dissapointment is the lack of non-english support at the moment. Hopefully Samsung can roll up new software to support Asian language very soon.

Oh. Also dissapointed that i cannot change the theme/skin of the software.

The touch and the keypad feel solid compared other phone, and the slider looks good.

Pros: battery life not very good, text message takes to long, have to go round the houses before you send
Cons: Good display and good excess to menu's
Opinion:
average phone, not as good as my E800 or my Nokia 6630

Pros: small size, 3 G, bright and clear display
Cons: no stopwatch/timer, radio (but minor negatives)
Opinion:
This is what 3G phones should be - compact in size but loaded with practical features. A very good effort by Samsung.

 

Better than the sony ericsson k800i

Pros: cool, powerful mp3, reliable
Cons: Camera is only 2 mega-pixel
Opinion:
I've have played on the sony ericsson k800 and the nokia 6233 as I have been given a demonastration by Carphone Warehouse but compared to this phone they are only ok. This phone has everything-good interface which is miles better than the d600.
