Pros: Nice to hold, features packed, compact , long lasting battery and look good!
Cons: Poor sound, Not 3G, Menu system & Data Communication Not supported by Motorola Phone Tools
Opinion:
For the first slide series of Motorola, Z3 is definitely made to outshine other brands. It is slick and features packed. It has all the current must have features including 2mp camera, bluetooth, external memory (MicroSD might be the cheapest memory currently in the market), fabulous color display and slim factor.
On top of feature, the casing design of my black Z3 version is polished with rubber feel skin. The rubber provide ergonomic design that nice to hold as well as easy sliding the phone. However, Motorola decided to paste a thumb grip that appear to be a late adjusment to the design as it is merely glued (which subject to wear and tear easily).
I must admit the the display color quality of this phone is outstanding, much much better than my older SE W800i. It becomes more obvious if you watch video clips using this phone.
Menu system definitely need improvement. Somehow, ... Read more

RIZR & Shine!
Jan 4, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Slim sleek design, smooth sliding mechanism, excellent screen, feels good in hand
Cons: Below par camera, cramped keys
Opinion:
The Moto RAZR V3 was an iconic phone almost solely because of its slim and sleek design. However, it was a phone with very basic features and average performance. This time, Motorola has outdone itself with the RIZR Z3 (unfortunately, many Singaporeans pronounce it as "Zed-3" when it should be "Zee-3"). Not only does the Z3 emulate the V3 in its design, it is acually more user friendly and boast of better features, eg. larger internal memory, expandable memory (micro sd), longer battery life, 2-megapixel cam (which seems more like 1.3-megapixel or even less), etc. It is also not as wide as the V3, which makes it a joy to hold and behold. However, this also means that the keypad is a little cramped, especially for those really into sms-ing. Nevertheless, it took me a mere week or so to adapt myself to my new gadget. This RIZR definitely rises and shines amidst the flurry of slider phones released in ... Read more
Suitable for ladies or those with small fingers
Jan 4, 2007Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Not too bad photos, very solid slider mechanism, nice metal casing with soft touch coating
Cons: Inaccurate keypad/poor button spacing
Opinion:
For the price I paid at S$288 with Singtel, this is actually a great phone for its cost. The spring-loaded slider mechanism inspires lots of confidence and doesn't feel loose at all. The casing also feels expensive as it's made of metal and has a rubberised soft-touch coating that doesn't pick up fingerprints and never feels like it's going to slip out of the hands. My only gripe with this is the position of the buttons. Sending out SMSes is a real pain as I regularly press the wrong button and have to use the delete button quite often. Even so, pressing the Clear/Delete button also results in me accidentally pressing the red HANG-UP button, thus cancelling the SMS whilst typing halfway and having to re-type all over again. Motorola should consider moving the position of the Clear button
