Don't get it if you do any SMS

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Nice design, sleek alternate to V3
Cons: keypad is unusable for SMS
Opinion:
I've had a Samsung D500 (slider), then a Motorola V3, and then a V3i. I prefer clamsheels. The Motorola is admittedly a nice clamshell design and sleek but I didn't like the interface and the sluggish typing speed. After I lost my Motorola in the taxi (2nd time), I bought the Samsung after seeing it at the store. Nice design, but the keypad has no give and doesn't register the entry (I have sound off since I am business person and don't need it beeping all the time). That means I cannot type without staring at the keypad, because some keys register letters more easily than others. It is quite frustrating and makes me long for my V3i. There still aren't many good, sleek, clamshells out there. So I will give my Samsung away and probably get another V3i. Try sms'ing on a sample phone before you buy it and you ... Read more

Looks good but serious design flaw

Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: slim, sleek design
Cons: rear battery compartment release too sensitive
Opinion:
The rear battery compartment has a release button which is way too sensitive - because it's spring-loaded, even slight pressure will pop the rear battery cover open. So far i've owned the phone for 3hrs, and it's popped open when (1) i place it flat on a counter and (2) when i flip the phone shut. It's entirely conceivable that you could walk away from a table leaving your battery cover behind!

exotic design, seductive

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Design, LCD Sharpness
Cons: Keypad, Speaker
Opinion:
just sold away N70 and got this Ultra 9.9.
made all my frds "wow" by design. when they tried to test out the camera, LCD sharpness is getting marks. for myself. its cool. i love the design totally. user interface is OK. but quite hard to familiar the keypad. cuz its kind of pressure sensor. another cons is abt the speaker. when u listen the music with earphone, its totally great. but for the spearker, quite disappointing. and ringtone volume also not tat loud enough. when u set a song from memory card, it wil copied the file to phone memory in order to be the ringtone. and u cant do multiple profile, the ringtone functions are kinda limited. but i still do recommand this phone for not the high end user.

I swear that i will not use the NOKIA phones ever again. their Customer service is totally lousy. i chose Samsung not just cuz of ... Read more

gonna change the whole style statement for bulky handsets

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: sleek n stylish
Cons: none
Opinion:
where can i buy it

excellent phone with great functions to boot

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: 9.9mm thickness for the slew of fns u're getting - Samsung did it correctly (well 90%) this time
Cons: external lcd too small in size
Opinion:
have been using this phone for the past 3 days and really, it's extremely comfy to hold in yur hands. Even the old V3 i'd looks fat compared to it. Navigation and respnse time is swift and great with its updated interface but note that cam tends to lag (2 megapixel though!) Inner LCD is generous in size n beautiful to view (to make up for the pathetic external lcd properly) Only con: pathetic external LCD. Otherwise : a phone u should get if U're nt needing 3G and wan good value for money!
