Excellent PDA
Sep 22, 2007Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Display (large-screen, hi-res 640x480), Can use as USB host. Cradle can be used for charging spare battery
Cons: None
Opinion:
One of few PDAs with 640x480 screen. The fact it can be used as USB host allows me to attach a (mini) USB keyboard for taking notes. On the whole, very good value for money.
Best PDA for Beginner

Pros: Best design, large screen, wifi
Cons: lack of support
Opinion:
I'm confidence to bring Acer n311..
We waiting for next generation.
Great but lack of support
Oct 26, 2006Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Clear, large screen, fast processor, Wi-fi enabled
Cons: Lack of support, hard to find the accessories
Opinion:
I've used this gadget for almost a month and I find it very useful and handy. It's extra large screen give an edge compared to the usual PDAs, not to mention its clarity.
However, it's really hard to find the accessories, even for the case and protective screen. Besides, lack of support --especially for me who live in Indonesia-- is really put me alone in the dark.
It's a pity for such a good product.
Value for money
Sep 18, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: good design, good resolution, good processor speed
Cons: no printed manual and hard to get accessories
Opinion:
Whatever you can find in other PDAs, you can find it in this. (except for infrared of course). However, there is no printed manual which could make me quite lose on its operation. The accessories is also a headache, you have to go all the way to Jurong to get it. As PDA is not the core thing for Acer, therefore, its staff might not have a very good knowledge about it. So it might take sometime for them to figure out the problem or to figure out what are the accessories are.
In view of its cons, I would still buy this PDA for it is definately more value for money compared to others. Cheers!
Love the design
Jun 13, 2006Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Design and functions
Cons: PDAs are passe
Opinion:
Well.. PDAs are a dying fad. For handhelds to be successful, they have to be the ultimate convergence and connectivity device. GSM, Wifi and Bluetooth is the minimum.
