The most unapreciated BenQ-Siemens

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Design, construction, screen, camera, audio
Cons: minor issues with software, sometimes slow
Opinion:
Well i bought it one year ago. All i can say is this phone is awesome for what it coasted.
Design:
Not only is very well designed in my opinion, but in the critics too, it received an IF award in 2006. I´s strikes with a classic design, and it feels solid, like it will last forever, you don´t year or feel any cheap plastic hands like with other mobile phones out there. It´s very portable and medium weight.

Screen:
One of the best out there. For those who don´t know, this phone features a decent OLED screen. It´s far superior to any TFT screen specialy in contrast ratio or color rendering, soon TV sets will use this technology. Pictures in the main screen looks simply amazing, looks like their real. The only drawback is the behaviour under sun light, not only is hard but you also notice the quick blinking of the diodes, which is annoying to the human ... Read more

THIS BENQ NOT SIEMENS !!!

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Oled Display, clear picture, good looking
Cons: Very poor software, No cap for lense
Opinion:
This is new begining of Benq-Siemens product, their start to show the latest technology. if you wish to use this phone better wait until benq-Siemens settle with other product. I've use this phone for week, but have 100 problems :
- bad Software
- Qsync -- very-very bad software ever
- BT connection : more longer than nokia, i.e send 1 mp3 (3.4Mb) from PC, its took 7 minutes.
- EQ on MP3 player, doesn't change quality of sound, its so stranght.
- there's no indicator idle display that we have got miss call, shoud be open on "Call record"
- Couldn't insert phone number while sms-ing.
- Couldn't connect for 2nd time with PC.
- Poor Customer service, don't why might be its transition with name "BENQ and SIEMENS"

If design is king, K750i has been one-upped

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Sexier than Nokia, all functions I seem to need
Cons: Large screen cramps buttons, joystick no joy to use, little internal memory
Opinion:
No wonder won design award in Europe before it came out, the looks are dynamite.

2.0 megapixel camera, features (autofocus, flash), sideway's holding works great, but are pictures that nice? Still on fence after week of play.

Nice mix of German engineering (extremly efficient screen and low power use options) with the current and long overdue renaisance in Taiwan manufacturing design. Details, like the 'retro' electro looks for incoming calls (and many others) just icing on cake.

Joystick and button manipulation not always on same page. My ancient Nokia two button seemed much more intuitive.

Did they take the screen size/button size tradeoff too far? Too little button pressing comfort for my taste, and, although K750i users complained about it, is a huge screen necessary? Maybe for showing off pics, but in the end of the day it's the buttons we use to use the darn thing.

Bought it in Taiwan for ... Read more
